Visit your Dentist for a check-up

Note: Remember, assessments must be undertaken during your AIA Vitality membership period. Make sure your dentist signs the screening form

I've seen my dentist recently for a check-up, but it was before I joined AIA Vitality - can I still get 1,000 points?

No, you are only able to earn AIA Vitality points for dental check-ups that are done during your current membership year. 

 

I get my teeth cleaned every six months - can I get 1,000 points for each visit?

We like your commitment to healthy teeth! Unfortunately, you only earn 1,000 points for a full dental check-up once per membership year.

 

I use my Extras cover on my health insurance to cover the cost of going to the dentist - can I still get 1,000 AIA Vitality points?

Absolutely. It doesn't matter how your visit to the dentist is funded - as long as you have an official dental check-up (and get your AIA Vitality Advanced Screening form completed and signed by your dentist), you'll earn 1,000 AIA Vitality points.
