The Faecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) can detect minimal amounts of blood in your bowel motions. To qualify for points for this assessment you must be over 50 years old or have this test deemed clinically appropriate by your health professional.

The Colon Cancer Check is known as the Faecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT), and it detects minimal amounts of blood in your bowel motions.
AIA Vitality members aged 50+ years will earn 1,000 AIA Vitality points AIA Vitality members aged 50+ years can have the FOBT every two years will earn 1,000 AIA Vitality points for two consecutive years. AIA Vitality members aged under 50 years of age will be eligible to receive points for the FOBT, if deemed clinically appropriate.
Clinically appropriate means as advised by an appropriately qualified medical practitioner.
